Best of Cape Cod

First Time To Cape Cod

We are planning a trip to Cape Cod in late Septemeber
or early October 2010. It is just my husband and I and
we would like a unique and scenic place to stay. We
are planning to stay a week. Any suggestions?

Anyone recommend staying at Ashley Manor? The
reviews were very good and room rates seem
reasonable. We are hoping the setting is as
pretty as it looks on the website. Any advice?

Thanks howiekap! I appreciate your comments about
where to stay on the Cape but could you explain why
you said to avoid Hyannis and Yarmouth? We will
be coming in the Fall so we were hoping to avoid
all the crowds. I would appreciate any advice
you or others can give me. Thanks!

I am partial to Eastham...stay at the Whalewalk Inn. you can travel easily from here to Provincetown, Truro and Wellfleet north, to Orleans and Chatham south. The Outer cape is the place to see.........stay away from Yarmouth and Hyannis
