Cape Cod Beaches
Dennis
Dennis has some great Cape Cod Beaches. The North side of Dennis features Cape Cod Bay beaches, with warm, calm waters and miles of tidal flats to explore at low tide. At high tide, the striped bass come into these beaches to feed, making for some great fishing. On the south side of Dennis, are the Nantucket Sound beaches, again , warm, calm water and soft, sugary sand are the order of the day. Some of these beaches feature great windsurfing conditions for windsurfers of all abilities.
Dennis beach stickers can be purchased at Dennis Town Hall, located at 485 Main Street in South Dennis. The sticker office is open Memorial Day weekend, Monday - Sunday 9AM - 4PM. 508-394-8300.
Chapin Memorial Beach
Chapin Memorial is a Cape Cod Bay beach popular with 4WD owners who can drive on the beach with a special permit from the town of Dennis. It is also a popular clamming destination, at low tide, the flats extend for over a mile into Cape Cod Bay. At high tide, Chapin is popular with fisherman, who come to catch the striped bass feeding along the marsh grass. There are no amenities at Chapin Memorial except portable restrooms. There is a daily parking fee in-season. Directions: Take Route 6A in Dennis to New Boston Rd. to Dr. Boterro Rd. Cold Storage Beach Cold Sorage is also a Cape Cod Bay beach. Very similar to Chapin, except no 4WD. Directions: Take Route 6A to School St. to Cold Storage Rd. Corporation Beach
Corporation Beach is our #1 choice for best Cape Cod beach for families with young kids. It is situated in a small cove on Cape Cod Bay, protected by a breakwall(great for finding crabs).

Its huge parking lot can accomodate over 1000 cars, so parking is seldom a problem here.
