Cape Cod Beaches

Brewster

When it comes to Cape Cod beaches, Brewster has some of the best. All of Brewster's beaches are located on Cape Cod Bay, known for its warm calm waters and miles of sandy flats at low tide. These Cape Cod beaches are perfect for children looking to explore the tidal pools in search of marine life. They also offer some great fishing for striped bass at high tide.

Stickers are required for parking at all Brewster beaches from 9am-3pm daily, June 15 through Labor Day Weekend. They can be purchased in person, 7 days a week at the rear entrance of the Brewster Town Office Building. Visitor Information Center, 2198 Main St., from 9am-3pm. 508-896-4511.

Non Residents: $15/day, $50/week, $125/season. Residents: $15/season (Residents need auto registration and proof of residence)

All Brewster beaches have portable toilets Memorial Day-Labor Day. No Lifeguards.

Paine's Creek

Paines Creek Brewster Ma

Paine's Creek is one of the best Cape Cod beaches for kids. It does not have as much room as some other beaches, but what it does have is its very own lazy river ride. Bring your favorite inflatable float or inner tube. Paine's Creek flows slowly through the marsh and out to the beach, creating a wonderful outdoor playground for the kids. Our three, John, Michael, and Julia, ages 10, 9, and 4, absolutely love this place. Don't forget the nets for catching crabs, grass shrimp, and small fish that call this place home. The ice cream truck makes regular stops.

Keep in mind that Paine's Creek is very different

Paine's Creek is located at the end of Paine's Creek Rd. off of Rt 6A. Parking is very limited.

Tip: If you have a bike rack, bring a bike with you. Drop the family off at the beach, park at one of the local establishments, and the beach is just a short bike ride away. Oh yeah, and there is no parking permit required for bikes.

Brewster General Store
No trip to Brewster would be complete without a stop at the Brewster General Store. An old fashioned general store, where the locals sit out on the front porch having thier morning coffee and solving the world's problems.

Cape Cod Ice Cream

Oh...I almost forgot to mention the great Ice Cream at the Brewster Scoop, tucked down behind the general store. Don't miss it!

Cape Cod Bay Beach Ah...Cape Cod Bay!
