Cape Cod Baseball League Season About To Begin!

It is that time again - Time for Cape Cod league baseball! For a lot of people, Memorial Day is the unofficial beginning of summer, but for Cape Codders it is the crack of the wooden bats signaling the start of the CCBL season that ushers in the summer season.

Opening day this year will be Friday June 13th in Wareham as the Falmouth Commodores travel to Wareham to take on the Gatemen on John Wylde night.The league is paying tribute to one of the true pioneers of the CCBL, former Wareham president and general manager John Wylde. All ten teams will be in attendance for this marquee event with pre-game on-field ceremonies starting at 6PM. Game time is 7PM. Come on out and join us as we celebrate the accomplishments of one of the true legends of the CCBL, Mr. John Wylde.
